COMPOUND KINGS is a name for ready-to-play scented slime. Nearly everything in this catalogue is slime or compound that arrives already made, sitting in a tub, a jar or an egg-shaped case, with a sweet or fruity scent on the label. The one exception is an ocean-themed refill for a 3D sticker maker.
Most of the items are aimed at young children, and four of the slimes carry a 4+ age mark on the pack. The multi-packs reach further, toward teachers, party hosts and parents buying for several kids at once, while the sticker refill is pitched at kids, tweens and teens who like arts and crafts.
Choices that repeat across the COMPOUND KINGS line
Three sub-lines carry most of the range. Butter Cloudz is the butter slime, soft and stretchy, sold in single tubs, a two-piece swirl set and boxes of 24 or 48. Fluffy Cloudz is the airy, non-sticky one, here in a pink Berrycake jar. Crystal Clearz is the transparent slime, a Purple Grape bucket by Nichole Jacklyne.
Across those lines a few habits hold steady. Nearly every slime is scented, each single-scent tub is named after its smell, and the buckets reseal after play. The Butter Cloudz Swirls set is made by WeCool Toys, and the Fluffy Egg Kit swaps slime for a pre-made soft compound with charms mixed in.
What changes between items is texture, quantity and extras. Cookie Dough is the only tub with an ice cream scooper and mix-ins, Crystal Clearz is the only clear slime, and the egg kit is the only shaping compound rather than a stretchy slime.
Reading the sizes, scents and age marks
Weights are given in two units. The Cookie Dough and Neapolitan buckets hold 13oz each, while Blue Raspberry comes as 380g; converted, that is 13.4 oz, so all three hold close to the same amount of butter slime. Where a jar is measured instead of weighed, as with Berrycake at 3.75 x 2.4 x 2.4 inches, picture something that sits in a child's palm.
Multi-pack wording needs a closer look. "Assorted" on the 24 and 48 Packs means a mix of colors and light scents chosen by the maker, so a child cannot pick a single favorite flavor from them. The 48 Pack box measures about 15 x 2.4 x 5.5 inches, small enough to slide onto a classroom shelf.
The 4+ mark appears on Cookie Dough, Crystal Clearz, Blue Raspberry and Neapolitan. The Cookie Dough slime is also non-toxic. For any other item, the age printed on its own packaging is the one to follow.
Who the slime suits and who should skip it
Good matches are children aged 4 and up who like to squeeze, stretch and poke, kids planning a pretend ice cream counter, and anyone buying one slime each for a group. Fans of clear slime and bubble pops have Crystal Clearz, and kids who like fidget toys have the Swirls set.
Toddlers under 4 are outside the marked age for the four age-labeled tubs, and small pieces such as charms and mix-ins call for an adult nearby with any young child. A home full of rugs and upholstered furniture is a harder fit: slime sticks to fabric, so play at a table works better.
If your child wants to make slime from glue and activator, this range will disappoint, because everything comes ready-made. And if there is no iLY 3D Sticker Maker at home, skip the Undersea Adventure refill, since it does nothing without one.
